ThriveCart and Stripe are two popular solutions for collecting payments from your customers, but which option is best for your business?
Well that’s what we’ll be covering inside of this post, so you can make the best decision for your needs.
Ready to see which wins this matchup between ThriveCart vs Stripe? Let’s begin!
Here's what we'll cover...
About ThriveCart
ThriveCart is a well regarded shopping cart platform created by Josh Bartlett in 2016!
While they’re currently adding new features consistently, it’s not officially launched just yet. That doesn’t mean it’s an incomplete product, in fact it’s currently being used by 100,000+ online businesses.
Currently, the only way to get access is through their private lifetime deal — get access here!
ThriveCart is simple, while staying powerful. It integrates with every tool I’ve needed seamlessly. It just works.
About Stripe
On the other hand, Stripe is a popular payment processor that’s used by ThriveCart!
Since Stripe can’t be used to build order forms or sales page, the best way to use it is with ThriveCart.
They’re well-known and commonly used across the globe, specializing in collecting payments so their partners can get paid fast!
A lot of the most popular websites use Stripe to collect payments for their business, but it lacks in functionality when stacked up against a tool like ThriveCart.
What’s the main differences between ThriveCart and Stripe?
Like I said previously, ThriveCart is a complete shopping cart system, while Stripe specializes in collecting payments.
With ThriveCart, you can design custom order forms and sales pages to optimize for conversions!
That’s why the best combination is using ThriveCart with Stripe to collect payments, without lacking any of the customization.
Pairing these two powerful tools up together is a no-brainer!
Which has the better features?
I’d have to give ThriveCart the edge for this category. Since Stripe integrates directly with them, it makes sense to use them together!
ThriveCart takes Stripe’s already powerful software, and takes it to the next level.
Being able to create fully custom order forms has really helped conversions, which is why I have to give ThriveCart the upper hand here.
Will ThriveCart or Stripe cost more?
ThriveCart has a lifetime deal available at this time, which only costs a few hundred dollars for lifetime access! Most similar platforms cost around $100 monthly, so it’s a sweet deal.
On the other hand, Stripe takes a percentage of each sale and then a processing fee on top of it! It’s a reasonable price for how simple they make everything.
So while Stripe is cheaper to start with, it’ll end up costing you in the long run since you won’t have custom checkout and sales pages. Even a small change in conversion rate makes ThriveCart’s lifetime deal worth it!
I have a hard time finding any reason to use just Stripe, even though it’s cheaper.
Final thoughts – Why I went with ThriveCart
At this point, you probably understand I’m a raving fan of ThriveCart. It’s an awesome platform, has a lifetime deal, and it’s super easy to use!
Not only do they integrate with Stripe, PayPal, among other tools – but they give you the functionality to create high converting order forms and sales pages.
Go with ThriveCart, you won’t regret it one bit!
