GrooveFunnels and DropFunnels are two of the most popular funnel builders since their recent launches!
Since a lot of people have been raving about both of these options, I wanted to see which platform really takes the crown in this comparison.
That’s why I decided to test both options out and share my honest thoughts in this post so you can find the best funnel building platform for your business.
Let’s dive right into it!
Here's what we'll cover...
What is GrooveFunnels?
GrooveFunnels is a powerful funnel building software launched by Mike Filsaime in early 2020!
With a proven track-record of building successful marketing softwares, Mike and the team at GrooveDigital are back at it with another awesome platform that’s been creating a ton of buzz among digital marketers all over the planet.
Their goal is to help you cancel all of your expensive online business softwares, so you can keep things simple, powerful, and cheap!
What is DropFunnels?
DropFunnels is another ground-breaking funnel building software founded by Jordan Mederich.
Since launching in early 2020, they have received a ton of attention due to their fast loading times, and search engine optimized platform (something most funnel builders completely neglect!)
They offer a lot of different resources when you sign up, including the ability to build landing pages, membership sites, websites, and so much more inside.
One reason I was super intrigued to test DropFunnels out myself is because of Jordan’s success as an affiliate. I know he cares about his affiliates and is working on building a culture that will help separate DropFunnels from the competition!
What’s the main difference between these platforms?
GrooveFunnels and DropFunnels are pretty similar at face-value, but they offer entirely different things when you dive a little deeper.
If you are looking for a platform that can handle everything from automated webinars to sales pages to email follow-up, GrooveFunnels has you covered since they’re a true “all-in-one” marketing platform.
On the other hand, DropFunnels main goal is to help you create lightning fast sales funnels and websites that are optimized for Google search, so you can get more traffic to your offers!
We’ll dive deeper into both platforms features in the next section but to sum up the differences, GrooveFunnels is a true all-in-one marketing platform while DropFunnels is focused on helping you create the fastest loading sales funnels around!
Which funnel builder has the best features?
DropFunnels and GrooveFunnels both bring a lot to the table, but which software performs the best?
GrooveFunnels provides you everything you need to run a successful sales funnel, which includes the following tools:
- GroovePages (Intuitive & easy to use page + funnel builder)
- GrooveMail (Simple yet efficient email marketing automation)
- GrooveVideo (Advanced, marketing-oriented video player)
- GrooveSell (Digital e-commerce was never this easy!)
- GrooveMember (Create membership sites in minutes)
This group of powerful resources allows you build funnels, follow-up with your customers, and even build an exclusive membership site if you’d like. Needless to say, GrooveFunnels has you covered from all angles so you can focus on getting better results in your business!
See their full list of features here!
DropFunnels is focused on helping you build intuitive sales funnels and full websites. But, they don’t stop right there.
What separates DropFunnels from the competition is their ability to create lightning-fast sales funnels and websites so your visitors get a better experience and you can rank better on Google!
So if you plan on blogging in any capacity, DropFunnels is going to the better choice since it’s a search engine optimized platform unlike GrooveFunnels.
They also have a ton of other features, which you can find here.
How much does each platform cost?
GrooveFunnels is offering their base plan 100% free at this point. I’d highly recommend you to jump on this offer because it isn’t going to last very long, and it’s entirely free!
They also have two other plans that will be available soon, which are the Silver and Gold plans ($99/m and $199/m, respectively)!
But if you are looking to upgrade at any point in the future, it’s well worth it to purchase the lifetime deal they have available during the beta phase…
And even if you aren’t interested in upgrading in the future, I urge you to at least grab a free account below to try out the software for yourself. It may save you a few hundred dollars per month!
Since launching, DropFunnels has offered two plans which are reasonably priced and both include a 14-day free trial!
Now, they’ve recently upgrade to three pricing plans which is great to see they’re continuously adding on.
They are currently offering a “starter” plan which costs $49/m, a “pro” plan which costs $149/m, and an agency plan which costs $297/m.
Check out my DropFunnels pricing plans page for the most up to date discount & deals.

Why you may want to choose GrooveFunnels instead of DropFunnels
GrooveFunnels is going to be the better choice if you are looking for a true all-in-one marketing platform and you’re comfortable working through the kinks of a beta software.
They can handle everything from webinars to sales pages to the email follow-up which most platforms simply can’t compete with!
While DropFunnels offers most of the same features, they don’t have a dedicated email marketing software included which is an additional cost you’ll have to pay each month.
Why you may want to choose DropFunnels instead of GrooveFunnels
DropFunnels is going to be the better choice if you are focusing on blogging or running paid traffic, since they offer lightning fast load times in comparison to GrooveFunnels.
While they don’t include all of the features that GrooveFunnels offers, they know their target audience and made a killer software for them!
If you are going to be running paid ads or blogging, go with DropFunnels so you don’t lose your search engine ranks and visitors because of page speed.
My final thoughts
GrooveFunnels and DropFunnels are both relatively new marketing platforms that have been making waves in the community, and for good reason!
GrooveFunnels is an awesome “all-in-one” marketing platform that’s focused on being easy to use for beginners, but super powerful for advanced users.
With that said, DropFunnels is focused on creating the fastest loading funnels and websites, so you can rank better on Google and have less visitors leave your sales pages.
Both of these are solid options, but it’s going to depend on what you are looking for from your marketing platform to determine which is the best choice.
Luckily, you can try both of them out risk-free using the links below!
